We'll meet at the scheduled time at the port in Vila Franca do Campo to embark on a tour of some of the must-see natural places on the island of São Miguel.

First, we'll drive through the Furnas Valley to see the fumaroles and geysers of boiling water creating an atmospheric mist over the volcanic landscapes. We will view the crater lake of Furnas, located above the volcano, with fumes rising from the water.

Next, we will proceed to the village to enjoy a traditional lunch: a stew cooked in an underground oven, a local specialty. After lunch, you will have an hour of free time to explore the narrow streets of Furnas.

Following that, we will enter the Terra Nostra Garden, a botanical garden featuring a selection of native and imported flowers, including one of the largest collections of camellias in the world, with over 600 varieties.

Within the garden, we will have the opportunity to bathe in the volcanic hot springs and enjoy the relaxing mineral-rich waters. At 5:30 pm, the tour will conclude back at the original starting point.
