We'll meet at the scheduled time at the port in Vila Franca do Campo to embark on a tour of key natural sites on the island of São Miguel.

First, we'll drive through the Furnas Valley to view the fumaroles and geysers of boiling water that create mist over the volcanic landscape. At a high point, we will observe the crater lake of Furnas, located above the volcano.

Next, we'll proceed to the village to enjoy a traditional lunch: a stew cooked in an underground oven, a local specialty. Following lunch, you will have one hour of free time to explore the narrow streets of Furnas.

We will then visit the Terra Nostra Garden, known for its extensive collection of native and imported flowers, including over 600 varieties of camellias.

Inside the garden, we will have the opportunity to bathe in the volcanic hot springs and enjoy the mineral-rich waters. The tour concludes at 5:30 pm, returning to the original starting point.
