At the indicated time we'll meet at the Vila Franca do Campo Marina to start a kayak tour to the islet of the same name.

After a brief introduction, we'll take the kayak and paddles and set out on the waters of São Miguel. Following the guide's kayak, we'll paddle around the front of this island of volcanic origin.

The guide will share interesting facts about the formation of this islet of the Azores archipelago, known as the 'Anel da Princesa' or 'Princess Ring'.

During our 5-kilometre (3.1-mile) kayak route, we'll stop so you can dive into the Atlantic waters and snorkel, exploring the seabed and its species.

We'll conclude this kayaking experience by returning to the starting point, arriving after 3 hours.

Access to Vila Franca do Campo Island

Access to Vila Franca do Campo island is restricted due to its Protected Area status. Below are the schedules for limited activities:
