At the indicated time, we will meet at the Vila Franca do Campo Marina to start a kayak tour to the islet. After an introduction, we'll take the kayak and paddles and set out on the waters of São Miguel, paddling around the front of this island of volcanic origin.

During the paddle, the guide will share information about the formation of this islet of the Azores archipelago, which is the crater of a submerged volcano known as 'Anel da Princesa' or 'Princess Ring'.

During our 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) kayak route, we'll stop for you to dive into the Atlantic waters and snorkel, exploring the seabed and discovering local species. The kayaking experience concludes with a return to the starting point, taking about 3 hours.
