Scuba Diving in São Miguel

Experience diving in the waters of São Miguel Island starting from Vila Franca do Campo Marina. Choose between 1 or 2 dives lasting 3 to 4 hours. Explore the diverse sea life and discover ancient shipwrecks along the south coast.

Accompanied by a guide, dive into the open sea to encounter bream, groupers, moray eels, and marvel at the volcanic underwater scenery. Explore shipwrecks and 18th-century anchors before returning by boat.

Activity times

Choose between one dive at 9 am or 2 pm, or two dives at 8.30 am.

Necessary documentation

To participate, you need an international Open Water certificate or equivalent proof of diving proficiency.
