Do you have an official diving certificate and want to explore the seabed of São Miguel Island? Then, this activity is perfect for you! You'll enjoy the varied sea wildlife of the Azores and admire ancient shipwrecks.

Scuba Diving in São Miguel

At the selected time, we'll meet at the Vila Franca do Campo Marina. We'll put on the diving equipment and board a boat to start the activity. Are you ready to explore the underwater beauty of the south of São Miguel?

When making your reservation, indicate if you prefer to do this activity with 1 or 2 dives. The duration will range between three and four hours, depending on the chosen option.

We'll sail along the south coast of São Miguel and reach the islet of Vila Franca do Campo in search of dive sites, adjusted to tide conditions that day.

While diving in open sea, accompanied by the guide, we'll discover the sea wildlife of the Azores, including bream, huge groupers, and moray eels. Additionally, we'll explore beautiful underwater scenery, shipwrecks, and ancient anchors dating back to the 18th century.

We'll then return by boat to the starting point, concluding this diving experience.

Necessary Documentation

To participate in this diving experience, it is necessary to have the international Open Water certificate or a similar document. Additionally, you'll need to fill out a medical form upon arrival. If you have a serious medical condition, a medical certificate is required.
