Burmester Winery Visit & Tasting

Tour Details

We'll meet at the selected time at the entrance of the Burmester winery, one of the most famous wineries in Vila Nova de Gaia. The guided tour will cover how Port and Douro DOC wines are produced.

Our guide will discuss the history of Henry Burmester, the founder responsible for exporting wines throughout Europe. We will learn about the qualities of the wines produced at Burmester since the 18th century.

The visit will last a total of 30 minutes in addition to the tasting experience.

When booking, you can choose from the following tasting options:

Tasting of 2 different wines: at the end of the visit, you'll enjoy a tasting of two different wines.Tasting of two reserve wines, cheese, and biscuits: at the end of the tour, you'll enjoy two reserve wines paired with cheese and biscuits.Tasting of 3 wines and chocolate: you will taste three different wines accompanied by chocolate.Tasting of 3 premium wines, chocolate, and cheese: at the end of the visit, you'll enjoy three superior quality wines, accompanied by chocolate and cheese.

Children Under 18

Children from 6 to 17 years old will receive orange juice, with no food included. Children under 6 years will not be charged for drinks during the free visit.
