Why Visit The Fonseca Winery?

The Portuguese banks of the Duero produce some of the most exquisite wines in northern Portugal in towns such as Vila Nova de Gaia. The Fonseca Winery, which dates back more than 200 years, is located in this town. This tour lasts around an hour. You will discover how these Porto wines are made. The self-guided tour includes the growing history of the Quinta do Panascal, the aging process of the wines, and insights into state-of-the-art sustainable wine-making techniques.

The guided tour concludes in the tasting room with a glass of Oporto Fonesca Bin 27. Children can enjoy grape juice made from grapes grown in the Duero Valley.
