Why Visit The Fonseca Winery?
The Portuguese banks of the Duero produce exquisite wines, with the Fonseca Winery located in Vila Nova de Gaia. This winery has a history of over 200 years.
The wine-tourism center offers a tour lasting about one hour. You'll learn how Porto wines are made during a self-guided tour that covers the history of Quinta do Panascal, the aging process of the wines, and sustainable wine-making techniques.
The tour concludes in the tasting room, where you'll sample Oporto Fonseca Bin 27. Children can enjoy grape juice made from Duero Valley grapes.
