Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Afurada Market to start the amphibious bus tour of Porto. This unique DUKW vehicle, used during World War II, will allow us to explore the city like never before—on both land and water.

We'll board the vehicle at the ramp and head towards the river. We'll enter the water and the bus will gently glide towards the Arrábida Bridge, an impressive engineering landmark of the city.

We'll continue sailing, passing by the Massarelos Helipad and the district of the same name, known for its industrial history and connection to river transport.

In the distance, we will see the silhouette of the church of Massarelos. The amphibious bus will then turn around and head towards the mouth of the Douro, where fresh water meets the Atlantic.

In the final stretch of the tour, we'll sail next to the Douro Marina, a modern nautical complex. We'll return to the ramp we used to enter the river and conclude the tour after 50 minutes at the initial meeting point.
