Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Afurada Market to start an unforgettable amphibious bus tour of Porto. This unique DUKW vehicle, used during World War II, will allow us to explore the city on both land and water.

We'll board the vehicle at the ramp and head towards the river, entering the water as we glide towards the Arrábida Bridge, notable for its concrete arch. This bridge became the largest of its kind in the world.

Continuing our route, we'll pass by the Massarelos Helipad and the district of Massarelos, once known for its industrial significance and river transport links.

As we approach, you'll see the silhouette of the church of Massarelos, recognized for its beauty along the river coast. The amphibious bus will then turn around to head towards the mouth of the Douro, where fresh water meets the Atlantic, creating a unique landscape. Remember to take photos!

During the final stretch of the tour, we'll sail past the Douro Marina, a modern nautical complex. We will then return to the ramp used to enter the river and head back to the initial meeting point, where the tour concludes after 50 minutes.
