How Will the Wine Tasting Work?

The experience occurs at The Wine School, a wine bar in Vila Nova de Gaia, known for its rich wine-producing culture. Depending on the selected option, you will have between 30 and 45 minutes to taste various Portuguese wines, exploring different tastes and aromas. At the end of the tasting, a guide will be available for questions related to wine production in Vila Nova de Gaia.

Demystify Wine Workshop

For the Demystify Wine Workshop, you will learn the basics of wine tasting, including key concepts and terminology. The history of wine in Porto will be discussed, covering its origin and production methods, including the 5 wine-producing regions in Portugal and their iconic wines. The session concludes with a tasting of 5 wines paired with 5 traditional Portuguese products.

Schedule

Tastings are available from Monday to Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm. The Demystify Wine Workshop occurs from Monday to Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. Times are flexible and may change.
