How Will the Wine Tasting Work?

The experience takes place at The Wine School, a wine bar in Vila Nova de Gaia, known for its wine-producing culture. Depending on the option chosen, you will have between 30 and 45 minutes to taste various types of Portuguese wines, experiencing different tastes, aromas, and colors. Demystify Wine Workshop

If you choose this option, you'll participate in a Demystify Wine Workshop. The experience starts with learning about the basic ideas of a tasting, wine concepts, and terminology. You will also explore the history of wine in Porto, its origin, production, and unique characteristics, followed by information on the 5 wine-producing regions in Portugal and their iconic wines. The workshop concludes with a tasting of 5 wines paired with 5 typical Portuguese cuisine products.

Schedule

Tastings are available from Monday to Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm. The Demystify Wine Workshop is offered from Monday to Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. Please note that times may change.
