Reds, whites and rosés...On this Portuguese Wine tasting at The Wine School, try different varieties of famous wines in a Vila Nova de Gaia wine bar. You can also take part in a demystify wine workshop!

How Will the Wine Tasting Work?

The experience takes place at The Wine School in Vila Nova de Gaia, a town in north Portugal known for its wine-producing culture. You will have between 30 and 45 minutes to taste different types of Portuguese wines, allowing you to experience various tastes, aromas, and colors. Demystify Wine Workshop

If you select this option, you will participate in a Demystify Wine Workshop. The experience begins with basic tasting concepts, including terminology and selection advice. You will learn about the history of wine in Porto, production origins, and the characteristics of local wines, along with details on the 5 wine-producing regions in Portugal and their iconic wines. The workshop concludes with a tasting of 5 wines paired with 5 typical Portuguese products.

Schedule

Tastings are available from Monday to Sunday, from 11 am to 7 pm. The Demystify Wine Workshop is offered daily from 11 am to 6 pm. Times are flexible and subject to change.
