How Will the Wine Tasting Work?

The experience occurs at The Wine School, located in Vila Nova de Gaia, known for its wine-producing culture. Depending on the chosen option, you'll have between 30 and 45 minutes to sample different types of Portuguese wines and explore their unique tastes, aromas, and colors. After the tasting, you can consult the guide for questions about local wine culture.

Demystify Wine Workshop

This workshop begins with the fundamentals of wine tasting, covering key concepts and terms used in wine descriptions. You'll learn about the history of wine in Porto, its origins, production methods, and the 5 wine-producing regions in Portugal with their iconic wines. The experience concludes with a tasting of 5 wines paired with 5 typical Portuguese products.

Schedule

Tastings are available daily from 11 am to 7 pm. The Demystify Wine Workshop is available daily from 11 am to 6 pm. Please note that these times are flexible and subject to changes.
