At your chosen time, we will gather at Avenida Duques de Bragança. From there, you will hop back into your vehicle and follow the guide to the renowned Vila Viçosa marble quarries, a gem within Portugal's stone industry.

Upon arrival, our adventure begins as we explore the vast expanse of the marble quarry. Throughout the visit, you'll learn about the vital role this stone plays in the surrounding Alentejo villages—prepare to be astonished by the scale of the site!

Interestingly, the marble extracted from the ground isn't immediately usable. After touring the quarry, we will proceed to a local workshop where you will witness the processing methods employed in Vila Viçosa.

Next, we will head to a different workshop, offering you a glimpse of how the marble is refined into its final forms. The unique marble pieces on display here are sure to captivate your attention.

Our tour will conclude as we make our way back to Vila Viçosa.
