Vilafamés Free Tour

On this free tour of Vilafamés, we'll discover the Al-Andalus origins of one of the most beautiful towns in Castellón.

Description

After meeting at Plaça de la Font, we'll begin the free tour of Vilafamés by walking down Carrer de la Font, admiring the red stone houses that welcome us.

As we learn about the origins of this village, we'll arrive at Roca Grossa, a striking rock formation weighing over 2,000 tons, significant to the locals.

We'll continue to Plaça del Ayuntamiento and the Vilafamés Contemporary Art Museum, stopping to appreciate the old 16th-century buildings and their history.

Walking through cobblestone streets, we’ll head to the highest part of the town for panoramic views and photo opportunities. We will spot Vilafamés Castle, of Arab origin, and L'Església de la Sang (Church of Blood).

After 2 hours, we'll conclude the tour back at Plaça de L’Església.
