At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Carrera 9 in Villa de Leyva. From there, we'll walk to the outskirts of the municipality to embark on a hiking route through Las Cárcavas, featuring a group of yellow and brown rock formations.

For three hours, we'll walk through semi-desert and eroded landscapes that contrast with the surrounding forests. We'll see various formations as we advance along the Canal de los Españoles, an old road used by mules loaded with agricultural products.

We'll reach the viewpoint of Las Cárcavas, situated at 1600 metres above sea level, offering views of the rugged landscape. Some rocks are crater-shaped, resembling lunar landscapes. We will take a break to take pictures and listen to some legends of the area.

Finally, we'll conclude the experience with the return to the meeting point.
