Villa de Leyva Guided Visit
At your chosen time, we'll meet in front of the Selina Hotel to start our guided tour of Villa de Leyva, located in the Boyacá region.
We will walk towards the main square, featuring Our Lady of the Rosary Church, a fountain, and cobbled roads. Villa de Leyva's square is among the largest in South America, contributing to its designation as a National Monument.
Next, we will explore the town's origins, including prehistoric times. Villa de Leyva hosts three museums that showcase Cretaceous fossils and dinosaur sculptures, including the most complete pliosaur specimen discovered globally.
We will admire the colonial architecture while strolling through streets adorned with colourful balconies, with many mansions transformed into craft shops and charming hotels, enhancing the town's elegance in the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes.
After 2 hours and 30 minutes of exploration, we will conclude our tour in the town centre.
