On this 8-day tour through Nicaragua, we explore colonial towns, volcanoes, and natural parks.

8-Day Tour Details

Day 1: Managua

Upon arrival at Managua Airport, we will meet you and take you to your hotel. You may explore Nicaragua's capital or relax depending on your flight schedule.

Day 2: Managua – León

After breakfast, we head to Managua's historic center for a guided tour. Key sites include the Plaza de la Revolución and the Laguna de Tiscapa viewpoint. We will then travel 2 hours to León for lunch and a walking tour of the city.

Day 3: León

Enjoy the morning in León. After lunch, we will take a 1-hour hike to Cerro Negro Volcano. Experience sandboarding for 10 minutes at speeds up to 37 mph before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4: León – Granada

Travel to Granada post-breakfast for a guided tour visiting churches, La Merced Church, and the cemetery. Enjoy the local dish vigorón for lunch and take a boat tour of Las Isletas before sunset.

Day 5: Granada

Choose from three options: relax at the hotel, hike in the Mombacho Volcano Cloud Forest, or a sunset hike on Masaya Volcano.

Day 6: Granada – San Juan de Oriente – Mirador de Catarina – Granada

Visit San Juan de Oriente for pottery making, then head to Mirador de Catarina for views of Laguna de Apoyo. Participate in a Nicaraguan cooking class in Granada.

Day 7: Granada – Laguna de Apoyo – Granada

Spend the day at Laguna de Apoyo enjoying water activities, followed by lunch.

Day 8: Laguna de Apoyo – Managua

After breakfast, return to Managua for your flight.
