Description
At 8 am, pick-up in Managua and a 2-hour minibus journey to San Jorge, followed by a ferry to the freshwater island of Ometepe. Experience the vastness of Lake Nicaragua.
Upon arrival, visit the Chaco Verde Nature Reserve, which features diverse fauna and flora, including congo monkeys. Explore the reserve until around 1 pm, when there is free time for lunch at one of the park's restaurants.
After lunch, visit the Ojo de Agua pools for a swim in volcanic waters and explore the collection of pre-Columbian artifacts at the El Ceibo Museum.
The excursion concludes with a return ferry and minibus trip back to Managua, arriving at your hotel around 7 pm.
