Description
Join us on a full-day excursion to the cities of Granada and Masaya. We start with pickup from your hotel in Managua at 8 am. Our first stop is Masaya, known for its handicraft market, where you can browse a variety of products and traditional objects.
Next, we will venture into the White Villages and discuss the origin of their name. At a pottery workshop, you'll see pre-Columbian techniques. Then, we will go to the Catarina Viewpoint for panoramic views of the Apoyo Lagoon, Mombacho Volcano, and Lake Nicaragua.
We'll arrive in Granada around 1 pm to explore the Convent of San Francisco and La Merced Church. You will have the chance to climb the tower of La Merced for a view of the surroundings. Other landmarks include the Church of Guadalupe, the Cathedral, and the Church of Xalteva. You will have half an hour for lunch in the historic city center.
The journey concludes with a return to Managua, dropping you off at your hotel by 4 pm.
