Description
Join us on a cultural adventure with a full-day excursion to Granada and Masaya. The tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in Managua at 8 am.
The first stop is Masaya, known for its handicraft market. You can browse a variety of products and traditional objects, making it an excellent opportunity for souvenir shopping.
The tour continues to the White Villages, where we will explain the origin of their name. At a pottery workshop, you will observe pre-Columbian techniques. We will also visit the Catarina Viewpoint for panoramic views of the Apoyo Lagoon, Mombacho Volcano, and Lake Nicaragua.
We then head to Granada, arriving around 1 pm. We will visit the Convent of San Francisco and La Merced Church, where you can climb the tower for a stunning view. You'll also see other landmarks such as the Church of Guadalupe, the Cathedral, and the Church of Xalteva.
Enjoy half an hour of free time for lunch in the historic city center. The tour concludes with a return to Managua, dropping you off at your hotel by 4 pm.
