Say hello to the friendly squirrel monkeys of the Dominican Republic. With this trip from La Romana, you will be able to play with the animals in their natural habitat.

Monkeyland Trip

We will pick you up at your hotel in La Romana between 7 and 8 am. Then we will board a safari truck and begin our adventure!

The first stop will be at La Casa del Coco, where we will taste coconut oil, chocolate, organic coffee, and fresh seasonal fruits. We will also learn about the processes involved in creating these traditional products.

Then we will head to Monkeyland, a zoo where we will interact with the squirrel monkeys. You can pet them and even feed them! If you don't make sudden movements, the monkeys will eat from your hand!

During the visit to Monkeyland, which will last 45 minutes, we will discover fascinating facts about the squirrel monkeys, including their litter size and life expectancy. You will learn about their lifestyle and behaviors.

Finally, we will return to La Romana, arriving at your hotel by 12:45 pm.
