Samaná Day Trip

With this excursion to Samaná from La Romana, you will discover the principal attractions of the north of the Dominican Republic, including El Limón waterfall and Cayo Levantado island.

Day Trip Details

At the specified time, transportation will be provided from your hotel in La Romana. The journey includes a bus trip to the northeast of the Dominican Republic, with a brief stop in the village of Miches before continuing to the port of Las Cañitas, where a catamaran is ready.

The sailing will take us to Samaná. Upon arrival, participants will board a safari truck to venture into the peninsula, leading to El Limón waterfall. The final approach involves a 30-minute horse ride or hike, proceeding through the jungle to the waterfall, which can be accessed by descending a 200-step section.

After taking photographs, the group will head to a ranch for a buffet lunch. Following lunch, travel will resume by bus back to Samaná, where a boat will transport the group to Cayo Levantado for one hour of free time on the beaches.

After this leisure period, attendees will regroup for the return boat trip to Las Cañitas, arriving after half an hour. Ultimately, the bus will return to La Romana, with hotel drop-off after a 12-hour excursion.
