Samana Trip

With this excursion to Samaná from La Romana, you will discover the principal attractions of the north of the Dominican Republic, like the waterfall El Limón and the island Cayo Levantado.

Samana Trip

Between 5 am and 6 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in La Romana. We will travel by bus to the northeast of the Dominican Republic. After a brief stop in the village of Miches, we will continue to the port of Las Cañitas, where a catamaran awaits us.

From there, we will sail to the city of Samana. Once on land, we will board a safari truck that will take us to the interior of the peninsula, where we will visit El Limón waterfall. The last stretch is a 30-minute horse ride or hike through the jungle to the foot of the cascades, accessed by a 200-step section.

After taking pictures, we will go to a ranch for a buffet lunch. Then, we will return by bus to the city of Samaná, where we will board a boat to the island of Cayo Levantado, allowing one hour of free time to enjoy the beaches.

At 3 pm, we will regroup to take the boat back to Las Cañitas, arriving half an hour later. Finally, we will return by bus to La Romana, dropping you at your hotel by 6 pm.
