Samaná Day Trip

With this excursion to Samaná from La Romana, you will discover the principal attractions of the north of the Dominican Republic, including the waterfall El Limón and the island Cayo Levantado.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in La Romana. We will travel by bus to the northeast of the Dominican Republic. After a brief stop in the village of Miches, we'll continue to the port of Las Cañitas, where a catamaran awaits us.

From there, we will sail to the city of Samaná. Once on land, we'll board a safari truck that will take us to the interior of the peninsula, where we will visit El Limón waterfall. The last stretch will be a 30-minute horse ride or hike, whichever you prefer, through the jungle to the foot of the cascades, requiring descent via a 200-step section.

After taking pictures, we will go to a ranch for a buffet lunch. Following lunch, we will return by bus to the city of Samaná, where we will board a boat to the island of Cayo Levantado, allowing one hour of free time on the beaches.

After our time in paradise, we will take the boat back to Las Cañitas, arriving half an hour later. Finally, we will return by bus to La Romana, dropping you off at your hotel after a 12-hour trip.
