Samaná Day Trip

With this excursion to Samaná from La Romana, you will discover the principal attractions of the north of the Dominican Republic, like the waterfall El Limón and the island Cayo Levantado.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in La Romana. We will travel by bus to the northeast of the Dominican Republic, with a brief stop in the village of Miches. We will then continue to the port of Las Cañitas, where a catamaran awaits us.

We will sail to Samaná, and upon arrival, we will board a safari truck to travel into the peninsula, reaching the El Limón waterfall. The last stretch includes a 30-minute horse ride or hike through the jungle to the waterfall, which is accessible via a 200-step section.

After visiting the waterfall, we will go to a ranch for a buffet lunch. Following lunch, we will return to Samaná to board a boat to the island of Cayo Levantado, where you will have one hour of free time to enjoy the beaches.

Afterward, we will return by boat to Las Cañitas, arriving after half an hour. Finally, we will return by bus to La Romana, dropping you off at your hotel after a 12-hour trip.
