Sugar Field Buggy or Quad Bike Tour

Hop aboard a buggy or a quad bike and get your adrenaline pumping as you drive through the spectacular sugar cane fields in the south of the island.

Activity Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time and head towards the town of Benérito. During the trip, you'll enjoy views of the colorful houses characteristic of the south of the Dominican Republic.

Stopping at a local ranch, we'll begin an exciting buggy tour, navigating uneven and muddy terrain for an adrenaline-filled experience.

We'll see extensive sugar cane plantations, visit a weighing station, and taste this local product with the farmers. You'll also visit a typical batey to learn about the daily life of its residents.

Next, we'll go to the Chavón River for a swim, and then return to the ranch to taste tropical fruits, mamajuana, coffee, and cocoa. Enjoy!

At the tour's conclusion, we'll return to the hotels, with an estimated arrival 3 hours later.

Types of Buggies

When booking, you can reserve a buggy for one person or for two people. The vehicles for both options are the same and have two seats.

Hotel Pickup

This activity includes pickup from hotels in the following areas: La Romana and Bayahibe.

Note that pick-ups are not available in Playa Nueva Romana. If you're outside this area, we'll pick you up at the Sunix Hacienda gas station.
