- 70 Bewertungen
Experience the thrill of driving a buggy or quad bike as you navigate through the breathtaking sugar cane fields in the southern part of the island.
Activity Overview
Your adventure commences with a pickup from your hotel at the scheduled time, followed by a journey toward the town of Benérito. During this ride, you'll pass vibrant local houses and a variety of Caribbean-style architecture typical of southern Dominican Republic.
Upon arriving at a local ranch, we’ll leave the minibus in favor of embarking on an exhilarating buggy tour. This portion of the experience takes you across rugged and muddy trails, ensuring a good dose of excitement.
Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to observe vast sugar cane fields, visit a weighing station, and sample this local product alongside the farmers who cultivate it. Additionally, you'll explore a traditional batey, a community of sugar cane workers, gaining insights into the everyday life of its inhabitants.
Your next stop will be the Chavón River, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim, before returning to the ranch to savor tropical fruits, mamajuana (a flavored alcoholic drink), coffee, and cocoa. Enjoy the flavors!
Following the tour, we'll make our way back to the hotels, with an estimated return time of around 3 hours later.
Buggy Options
When making your reservation, you can choose between booking a buggy for a single rider or for two, although both options utilize the same two-seat vehicles.
