If you hold a diving certification and find yourself in Villa La Angostura, you can partake in an invigorating diving experience at Correntoso Lake – a remarkable destination in Argentine Patagonia!

Diving in Correntoso Lake

At the agreed time, we will congregate at Correntoso Lake Beach, where we will prepare with all necessary diving gear.

Following a succinct safety briefing, we will delve into the waters of Correntoso Lake. This picturesque lake, nestled within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, offers an enchanting setting in the heart of Argentine Patagonia.

The depth of our dive will vary based on weather conditions and the group's experience levels. No matter how deep we explore, we will witness the rich biodiversity present in the lake.

During our adventure at the lake's floor, we will encounter various species of trout, perch, and other indigenous fish. Additionally, we will capture underwater photographs that you can take home at the conclusion of the activity!

After two hours of exploration, we will conclude our experience back at the meeting location.

Requirements for this activity

Participants must possess an Open Water, 1 star, Advanced, or Rescue diving certification to join this activity.

Beginner diving

For those without prior scuba diving experience, we suggest considering a beginner diving class in Correntoso Lake.
