Road of the Seven Lakes + San Martin de los Andes

On this day trip, we'll explore one of the most beautiful areas in the Neuquén region. We'll travel along the Road of the Seven Lakes and visit San Martin de los Andes, a must if you're in Argentine Patagonia!

Road of the Seven Lakes + San Martin de los Andes

At 9:30 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villa La Angostura and set off in a minibus along the Seven Lakes Road, known as Route 40.

During the trip, we'll see the lakes that give it its name: Espejo, Correntoso, Escondido, Villarino, Faulkner, Machonico, and Lacar. We'll stop at lookout points for optimal views.

While touring the northern part of Lake Correntoso, we'll stop at a farm belonging to the Quintupurais, a centenary Mapuche family. We will learn about their way of life and taste their fried cakes.

After traveling the Seven Lakes Road, we'll arrive in San Martin de los Andes, where you'll have three hours of free time to explore this city.

In the afternoon, we'll return to your hotel in Villa La Angostura, concluding the trip at 6:30 pm.
