Road of the Seven Lakes + San Martin de los Andes

On this day trip, we'll explore one of the most beautiful areas in the Neuquén region. We'll travel along the Road of the Seven Lakes and visit San Martin de los Andes, a must if you're in Argentine Patagonia!

Road of the Seven Lakes + San Martin de los Andes

At 9:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villa La Angostura and travel in a comfortable minibus. We'll set off along the Seven Lakes Road, also known as Route 40.

During this trip, we'll see the lakes that give the route its name: Espejo, Correntoso, Escondido, Villarino, Faulkner, Machonico, and Lacar. We'll stop at lookout points for views of the lakes.

While touring the northern part of Lake Correntoso, we'll visit a farm owned by the Quintupurais, a centenary Mapuche family, where we can sample their famous fried cakes.

After the Seven Lakes Road, we'll arrive in San Martin de los Andes, where you'll have three hours of free time to explore the city’s architecture, landscapes, and cultural offerings.

In the afternoon, we'll return on Route 40 to your hotel in Villa La Angostura, concluding the trip at 6:30 pm.
