Villa Rica Coffee Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Leopoldo Krausse Avenue to begin this tour of the coffee culture of Villa Rica, a main coffee producer in Peru.

The tour starts at the main square, where we will discuss the history and importance of coffee in Villa Rica. Then, we will visit a coffee plantation to learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of authentic Villa Rica coffee.

After the plantation visit, we will go to the Oconal Lagoon, a wetlands area with great biodiversity. There, you will have free time to explore, enjoy boat rides, and learn about the lotus flower, an emblem of this area.

Following the break, we will have a typical lunch of smoked meat, accompanied by a natural fruit drink.

After lunch, we will continue the tour, passing by the León Waterfall and the Cumbre viewpoint. We will stop at the Los Ositos orchid farm to see its flowers and visit a coffee quality control laboratory.

We will learn about different coffee varieties, verification processes, and have another coffee tasting, enhancing your appreciation of its aroma and flavor.

Finally, we will return to the starting point in Villa Rica, arriving around 3 pm.
