Villa Rica Coffee Tour

At 9 am, we’ll meet at Leopoldo Krausse Avenue to begin the tour of the coffee culture of Villa Rica, a major coffee producer in Peru.

The tour starts at the main square, where we'll discuss the history and significance of coffee in Villa Rica. Next, we’ll visit a coffee plantation to learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of authentic Villa Rica coffee.

After the plantation visit, we’ll head to the Oconal Lagoon, a wetlands area with great biodiversity, where you’ll have free time to explore. Activities include boat rides on the lagoon and learning about the lotus flower.

Following the break, we’ll have a typical lunch of smoked meat with a natural fruit drink.

With renewed energy, we’ll continue the tour visiting the León Waterfall and the Cumbre viewpoint. We’ll make a stop at the Los Ositos orchid farm and a coffee quality control laboratory.

We’ll learn about coffee varieties and verification processes, with another coffee tasting included. You will evaluate coffee qualities, including aroma and flavor.

Finally, we’ll return to the starting point in Villa Rica, arriving around 3 pm.
