Villa Rica Coffee Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Leopoldo Krausse Avenue to begin this tour of the coffee culture of Villa Rica, a key coffee producer in Peru.

The tour will start at the main square, discussing the history and importance of coffee in Villa Rica. Following that, we'll visit a coffee plantation to learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of authentic Villa Rica coffee.

Next, we’ll proceed to the Oconal Lagoon, a biodiverse wetland, where you’ll have free time to explore. Activities include boat rides on the lagoon and learning about the lotus flower.

After the break, we’ll enjoy a typical lunch of smoked meat paired with a natural fruit drink.

Once refreshed, we’ll continue the tour, passing by the León Waterfall and visiting the Cumbre viewpoint. We'll stop at the Los Ositos orchid farm and a coffee quality control laboratory.

Here, we’ll explore different coffee varieties and their verification processes, concluding with another coffee tasting. You'll gain insight into the coffee's qualities, aroma, and flavor.

We’ll return to Villa Rica around 3 pm.
