Villa Rica Coffee Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Leopoldo Krausse Avenue to begin this tour of the coffee culture of Villa Rica, one of the main coffee producers in Peru.

The tour starts at the main square, where the history and importance of coffee in Villa Rica will be discussed. Next, we will visit a coffee plantation where the production process of this beverage will be explored, followed by a tasting of authentic Villa Rica coffee.

After visiting the plantation, we'll proceed to Oconal Lagoon, where you'll have free time to explore. Activities include boat rides on the lagoon and learning about the lotus flower.

Afterwards, we will enjoy a typical lunch of smoked meat and a natural fruit drink.

With renewed energy, the tour continues with sights of the León Waterfall and the Cumbre viewpoint. We will stop at the Los Ositos orchid farm and visit a coffee quality control laboratory.

We will learn about different coffee varieties and verification processes, concluding with another coffee tasting to appreciate its qualities. Finally, we will return to the starting point in Villa Rica by around 3 pm.
