Las Encomiendas Wineries Trip
We will meet at the designated time in the central patio of Las Encomiendas wineries, located on the outskirts of Villafranca de los Barros. The guided tour will begin in the scenic vineyards.
Participants will enter the biodynamic wine cellar to learn about the various phases of the Extremaduran grape post-harvest. Next, we will visit the gravity processing cellar to observe the winemaking process. The estate produces three wines: Unadir, Lengua Azul, and Xentia.
The tour concludes with a tasting of three wines, paired with traditional products from the province of Badajoz.
Children under 18
Children under 18 may visit and will enjoy a tasting of red, white, and rosé wine gummies instead of wine tasting.
