Las Encomiendas Wineries Trip
We will meet at the designated time in the central patio of Las Encomiendas wineries, located on the outskirts of Villafranca de los Barros. The tour will begin in the picturesque vineyards.
Next, we will visit the biodynamic wine cellar to learn about the different phases the Extremaduran grape undergoes post-harvest. Then, we will proceed to the gravity processing cellar to observe the winemaking process. The estate produces three wines: Unadir, Lengua Azul, and Xentia.
The visit will conclude with a tasting of three wines, accompanied by a selection of traditional products from the province of Badajoz.
Children under the age of 18 years old
Persons under the age of 18 may visit the winery free of charge but will not be able to participate in the tasting.
