Waterfalls, natural springs, lush vegetation... On this excursion to Charco Azul we'll enjoy an oasis hidden in the jungle mountains of Meta. Welcome to the heart of Colombia!

Charco Azul Tour

At 7 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio and travel in a 4x4 vehicle to the town of Mesetas. The journey lasts approximately three hours, after which we will enjoy a breakfast before proceeding to the surroundings of Charco Azul.

Once we arrive, we will hike to a small beach in the jungle with a waterfall. This location is known for its natural beauty and the peaceful environment, offering an ideal opportunity to connect with nature. You will have free time to swim in Charco Azul, relax by the shore, and take photographs.

For lunch, we will provide a meal of meat and vegetables before continuing to the Historical Memory Camp. This site was formerly part of one of the guerrilla camps in the region. You will learn about the history and the experiences of ex-combatants from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) during the armed conflict.

We will conclude the excursion by returning you to your hotel in Villavicencio at 5 pm.
