On this excursion to the Güejar River, we'll travel through one of the natural areas of the Meta department.

River Güejar Hiking Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio at 7 am for a three-hour drive to the municipality of Lejanías.

Once we reach the river, we'll begin a 3.5-kilometre (2.1 miles) hiking route to discover its beautiful spots and biodiversity, learning various facts about the area.

As we walk along the banks of the Güejar River, we will encounter lush vegetation, paths of intense green, and impressive waterfalls. The waterfalls caño Lajón and caño Jordán are notable highlights.

We will continue until we reach an area of natural pools and jacuzzis for a refreshing bath. During this stop, we will have lunch with scenic views.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Villavicencio at 5 pm.
