Tubing in the Güape River Canyon

At 5:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio and drive to the municipality of La Uribe in a 4x4 vehicle.

Upon arrival, we'll equip ourselves with helmets and tubing waistcoats, prepare the floats, and head to the embarkation point in El Limón. An instructor will explain the basic safety rules to follow during the trip.

After the safety briefing, we'll begin tubing in the canyon of the Güape River. This activity lasts between 5 and 6 hours, during which we will slide down the river and navigate through different torrents of white water.

Additionally, we will visit the cave of the guacharos, named for the birds inhabiting it. The constant flapping of these birds creates the only sound breaking the silence within the underground cavities.

We'll conclude the tubing activity in the area of La Resevera, where a picnic featuring local specialties will be provided. After enjoying our meal, we will return to your hotel in Villavicencio, expected to arrive by 12:30 pm.
