Tubing in the Güape River Canyon

Do you feel like getting your adrenaline pumping? In this activity from Villavicencio we'll practice tubing in the river Güape, where we'll also visit the cave of the guacharos.

Tubing in the Güape River Canyon

At 5:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Villavicencio and drive to the municipality of La Uribe in a 4x4 vehicle.

Upon arrival, we'll equip ourselves with helmets and tubing waistcoats. After preparing the floats, we'll head to the embarkation point in El Limón. An instructor will provide a briefing on simple safety rules for the trip.

The tubing activity in the canyon of the Güape River will last between 5 and 6 hours. Participants will slide down the river with floats, navigating through different torrents of white water.

Additionally, we will visit the cave of the 'guacharos', named for the birds that inhabit it. The sound of these birds is the only noise interrupting the silence in the underground cavities.

We will conclude the tubing activity in the area of La Resevera, where we will enjoy a picnic featuring local specialties. Following the picnic, we will return to your hotel in Villavicencio, arriving by 12:30 pm.
