Trakai Day Trip

We'll meet at 11 am in Odminiu Square in Vilnius and set off on a 40-minute bus journey to Trakai, a town surrounded by five lakes. During the journey, an audio guide in English will provide insights into the history of the area.

Upon arrival in Trakai, you will have 2 hours 30 minutes of free time to explore the city or the castle. To visit Trakai Castle, proceed to the shores of Lake Galvé and cross the drawbridge to access the castle situated on a small island. The castle is recognized as the most beautiful medieval fortress in Lithuania.

Inside the castle, explore grand rooms featuring medieval furniture, costumes, and maps. You can also visit the Grand Duke's Tower and ascend the wooden stairs to view additional rooms, experiencing a journey back to the Middle Ages.

After your exploration, regroup at the designated meeting point in Trakai for our return trip to Vilnius, with an expected arrival back at 3 pm.
