Free Tour of Viña del Mar's Museums & Palaces

Do you know La Ciudad Jardín ("The Garden City") of Chile? On this free tour of Viña del Mar, you'll admire its beautiful museums and palaces from the outside and discover its architecture.

Tour Details

The tour begins at the designated time from the Miramar metro station exit. We will not enter any museum, palace, or monument, but we will admire their architecture from outside and learn about their history.

First, we will visit the Brunet Castle before proceeding to the Reloj de Flores (Flower Clock), a key symbol of Viña del Mar. Next, we will walk to the Wulff Castle located on the Pacific Ocean shores, followed by the Viña del Mar Casino, the Iglesia de los Padres Carmelitas, and the Fonck Museum, where a moai statue from Easter Island is displayed at the main entrance.

We will also stop at the Palacio Carrasco from the early 20th century and visit the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, the oldest church in Viña del Mar.

After approximately 3 hours, the tour concludes in front of the Palacio Vergara, known for its Venetian Neo-Gothic architecture and home to a museum of paintings, one of the main picture galleries in Chile.
