At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Church of Viñales. From there, we'll start hiking along the Palmarito trail through the Viñales Valley.

We will explore the valley and observe the mogotes, unique rock formations. Along the way, we’ll pass through extensive tobacco and coffee plantations where we will stop to learn about the drying process of tobacco leaves, the cigar-making process, and have the opportunity to try an authentic Cuban cigar.

We will then arrive at the Cueva del Silencio or "Cave of Silence." Inside, we will descend to a depth of nearly 328 feet (100 metres) to reach a lagoon set between the rock walls.

We will spend half an hour exploring the cave before returning to daylight and heading to a nearby lake for a swim. You will have some free time to enjoy the scenery and eat something.

The hike will conclude as we return to the starting point, completing a 5-hour adventure.
