At the designated time, we will gather in front of the Viñales Church. From there, our hiking adventure along the Palmarito trail will commence, leading us through the mesmerizing Viñales Valley.

We will first embark into the valley, taking in the sight of the mogotes, which are distinctive rock formations that rise dramatically from the landscape. As we traverse through the verdant terrains, we will encounter the expansive tobacco and coffee plantations. This will be an opportunity to stop and observe the drying of tobacco leaves, gain insights into the process of making cigars, and even sample an authentic Cuban cigar.

Our journey will then take us to the Cueva del Silencio, or “Cave of Silence.” Upon entering the cave's dark expanse, we will descend to a depth of nearly 328 feet (100 meters) until we reach a lagoon nestled between the rocky walls.

We will spend approximately thirty minutes exploring the cave before returning to daylight and heading to a nearby lake where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. You will have some free time to take in the surroundings and grab a bite to eat.

After this enriching experience, we will conclude our hike and return to the initial meeting point, wrapping up our 5-hour adventure with farewells.
