Hiking in Valle de Palmarito

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Viñales at 9 am and head to the Valle de Palmarito. This valley features impressive rock formations and farms producing typical Cuban products, making it a notable landscape within Viñales National Park.

Upon arrival, we will start our hike with a visit to a coffee farm, where we will learn about the production process of coffee in the region. You will have the opportunity to walk through the plantation to observe the cultivation methods.

Next, we will proceed to a tobacco plantation to understand the significance of this crop in creating Cuban cigars.

The hike will culminate with a visit to a cave, showcasing the stalactites and stalagmites. The Valle de Palmarito is a must-see!

We will conclude the hike and return to Viñales by around 1 pm.

Throughout the hiking route, we will cover approximately 9 miles (15 kilometers) in four hours, with multiple stops to enjoy the surrounding landscapes.
