Nærøyfjord Kayak Tour

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Evangervegen Street, next to Vangsvatnet Lake. There, we'll board a minibus and head for the Næroyfjord, the most narrow section of the Sognefjord.

Once we've arrived at our destination, we'll get into the kayaks and review the basic safety rules. We'll start paddling to explore one of the most beautiful fjords in the world, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

As we paddle through this natural wonder, we'll share the rich history of the Næroyfjord, connecting the western and central parts of Norway. Expect to see snow-capped mountains over 1,400 meters (4,593 feet), numerous waterfalls, charming villages, and luxuriant vegetation reflecting in the fjord waters.

Midway through our journey, we'll take a break, and you're welcome to bring a picnic. After refueling, we'll continue our adventure.

The kayaking tour will span 3 to 4 hours. After our time on the water, we'll return to the minibus for transportation back to Voss. In total, the experience, including transfers, will take approximately 7 hours.
