Kampala Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kampala at the indicated time to begin our tour. We'll start by entering the centre of Uganda's capital, immersing ourselves in its history and culture.

The first stop will be at Mengo, or Lubiri, Palace, the official residence of the King of Buganda. Here, we'll learn about its history and its role as a prison for political prisoners in the 1960s.

Next, we will visit the Uganda National Mosque on Kampala Hill, noted for being a skyscraper mosque, a gift from Colonel Muammar Gaddafi of Libya.

Following this, we'll explore the lively Owino Market, where you'll experience the local food culture. Nearby, we will visit the old Kampala Taxi Motor Park, an essential stop on the tour.

We will then enter the Uganda Museum, one of East Africa's best museums, where we'll explore exhibits on culture, science, natural history, and archaeology. This will be the perfect conclusion to our tour.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel after a total of 5 hours.
