We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kampala at the indicated time to begin our tour of this fascinating city. We'll start in the centre of Uganda's capital, where we'll immerse ourselves in the city's history and culture.

The first stop will be at Mengo, or Lubiri Palace, the official residence of the King of Buganda. Here, we'll learn about its history and its use as a prison for political prisoners in the 1960s.

The next stop will be the Uganda National Mosque on Kampala Hill. This remarkable building, a skyscraper mosque, was a gift from Colonel Muammar Gaddafi of Libya.

After exploring the mosque, we'll visit the bustling Owino Market, where we will discuss the food culture of the city. Nearby is the old Kampala Taxi Motor Park, an essential stop on the tour.

Next, we'll enter the Uganda Museum, one of the best museums in East Africa. Here, we'll explore exhibits on culture, science, natural history, and archaeology—the perfect concluding point for the tour.
