On this guided tour of Kampala, we'll discover the most emblematic places of the Ugandan capital.

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kampala at the indicated time to begin our tour. Our first stop will be at Mengo or Lubiri Palace, the official residence of the King of Buganda. Here, we'll learn about its history and its role as a prison for political prisoners in the 1960s.

Next, we will visit the Uganda National Mosque on Kampala Hill, a notable skyscraper mosque gifted by Colonel Muammar Gaddafi of Libya.

After exploring the mosque, we will go to the lively Owino Market to experience its colorful stalls and discuss the city’s food culture. Nearby, we will also stop at the old Kampala Taxi Motor Park.

We will then enter the Uganda Museum, which features exhibits on culture, science, natural history, and archaeology—providing a comprehensive overview of the country.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel after a total of 5 hours.
