Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kampala at 7 am and drive north towards Murchison Falls National Park, home to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

After about three hours of driving, we'll arrive at our destination and begin a walking tour in search of these endangered animals. Rhinos were completely extinct in Uganda by 1983 due to the civil war. A decade later, the Wildlife Authority was established to protect wildlife. As a result, the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary was opened, and the first rhino was born in 2009. During our walk, attempt to spot some of the 30 rhinos residing in the area while learning about this species.

After the walking tour, we will allow you some free time to rest and offer optional activities, such as a Nile River boat ride.

Finally, we'll return you to your hotel in Kampala, concluding the tour at 4 pm.
