The tour meets in Wanaka Marina at the chosen time, boarding the boat for a 45-minute cruise on Lake Wanaka to reach our destination.

Mou Waho Island is unique: it features a lake, on an island, in a lake, which is on an island.

Upon arrival at Mou Waho, we will embark on a one and a half hour trek through the nature reserve and ascend to its highest peak for impressive views of Lake Wanaka and the surrounding area. This is an opportunity to observe some of New Zealand's exotic birds, such as the weka.

Finally, we will return to the boat to head back to the starting point.
