The tour meets in Wanaka Marina at the chosen time, climbing aboard the boat which will take us on a pleasant 45-minute cruise on Lake Wanaka until we reach our destination.

Mou Waho Island is unique as it features a lake, on an island, in a lake, which itself is on an island.

Upon arrival, we will enjoy a one and a half hour trek through the nature reserve and climb its highest peak for views of Lake Wanaka and its surroundings. This is an opportunity to discover some of New Zealand's exotic birds, such as the weka.

Finally, we will return aboard the boat and head back to the start point.
