Majdanek Concentration Camp & Lublin Private Tour

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Warsaw and head to Lublin. Once there, we'll make our way to the Majdanek concentration camp.

Entering this virtually untouched historical site, we'll learn more about a time when barbarism ravaged Europe. This camp was established under the order of officer Himler to house Polish prisoners of war and later became an extermination camp. We will tour to see the crematorium ovens, gas chambers, and mausoleum housing the ashes of victims.

Following the visit, we will drive to the historic center of Lublin for an hour of free time for lunch. Afterward, we will explore the old town, discussing the Yeshiva study center and the pre-war Jewish vestiges, including information about the Talmud and the Hebrew-speaking world.

Next, we will visit Lublin Castle, a medieval stronghold from the 12th century, where we will climb the tower for views of the city and enter the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, known for its frescoes by Andrej Ruthenian.

After leaving the fortress, we will return to Warsaw, arriving back at your hotel after a total of 10 hours.
