Warsaw & ?azienki Park Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Sigismund's Column and set off on our tour of Warsaw.
In front of the column, we'll see the Royal Castle, once the official residence of Sigismund III. Next, we'll walk to St. John's Cathedral to admire the Mazovian Gothic structure and the remnants of the fortified network at the Barbican.
Next, we'll learn about Marie Curie and her research on radioactivity, as she was born in Warsaw. We'll visit the Warsaw Uprising Monument, honoring those who lost their lives in the 1944 rebellion.
After 2 hours touring the historic centre, we'll head to ?azienki Park, also known as the Royal Baths Park. We'll see the baths, the Temple of Diana, and various works of art, including the sculpture of Fryderyk Chopin.
We'll admire the ?azienki Palace, a neoclassical building from the 17th century on an artificial island, notable for its Ionic columns and mythological symbolism. As we stroll around the park, we may also see the squirrels and peacocks that inhabit the gardens.
Having spent 4 hours touring Warsaw and ?azienki Park, our tour will end at the exit of the park.
