Warsaw & ?azienki Park Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Sigismund's Column and set off on our tour of Warsaw.
In front of the column, we'll see the Royal Castle, the official residence of Sigismund III. We'll continue walking to St. John's Cathedral to admire the Mazovian Gothic structure. We'll also see the Barbican, remnants of the fortified network surrounding the city.
Next, we'll learn about Marie Curie and her research on radioactivity, as she was born in Warsaw. We'll then visit the Warsaw Uprising Monument, honoring those who lost their lives in the 1944 rebellion.
After 2 hours in the historic center, we'll head to ?azienki Park, also known as the Royal Baths Park. We'll see the baths, the Temple of Diana, and the sculpture of Fryderyk Chopin.
We'll also admire the ?azienki Palace, a neoclassical building from the 17th century on an artificial island. Its façade features Ionic columns and a balustrade with mythological symbolism. While strolling, we may see squirrels and peacocks that inhabit the gardens.
After 4 hours touring Warsaw and ?azienki Park, our tour will end at the park's exit.
