At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Sigismund's Column and set off on our tour of Warsaw.
In front of the column, we'll see the Royal Castle, the former residence of Sigismund III. We'll then continue to St. John's Cathedral to admire the Mazovian Gothic structure and view the remnants of the fortified network at the Barbican.
Next, we'll learn about Marie Curie and her work on radioactivity, as she was born in Warsaw. We'll also visit the Warsaw Uprising Monument, dedicated to those who lost their lives in the 1944 rebellion.
After 2 hours touring the historic center, we'll head to ?azienki Park or Royal Baths Park. We'll see the baths, the Temple of Diana, and the sculpture of composer Fryderyk Chopin.
We'll admire the ?azienki Palace, a neoclassical 17th-century building on an artificial island, known for its Ionic columns and mythological symbolism. During our stroll, we may see the squirrels and peacocks in the gardens.
