Warwick Castle is one of the oldest Medieval fortresses in the United Kingdom. It has a rich history, having been used as a military stronghold during the Hundred Years War and later as a country house. It was owned by the Earls of Warwick until 1978, when it opened to the public. The castle is currently a popular attraction, offering beautifully landscaped gardens, medieval vaults, and the chance to learn about the Earl and his family. Visitors can explore the towers and ramparts for views of the English countryside, watch a jousting tournament (summer only), see birds of prey, and witness the world's largest trebuchet launching a fireball, providing activities for all ages.

Opening Times

Warwick Castle opens every day of the year except 25th December. Opening hours are from 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The last admission is one hour before closing.
