Warwick Castle Tickets
Warwick Castle, one of the oldest and most impressive Medieval fortresses in the UK, was built in 914. Throughout its history, it has faced attacks and damage but remains one of the best-preserved castles in the country. Initially serving as a military stronghold during the Hundred Years War, it became a country house under Sir Fulke Greville and was owned by the Earls of Warwick until 1978 when it was opened to the public.
The castle offers beautifully landscaped gardens designed by Capability Brown, medieval vaults, and the opportunity to explore the former residence of the Earl. Visitors can climb the towers and ramparts for views of the English countryside. Attractions include the summer jousting tournament, birds of prey displays, and the world's largest trebuchet launching fireballs.
Opening Times
Warwick Castle opens every day except 25th December, from 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 5 pm on weekends. Last admission is one hour before closing. Please check the official Warwick Castle webpage for updated information on opening times and events.
