Description
At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel to begin this tour exploring the contrasts of Washington D.C. We will travel by minibus to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, one of the ten largest churches in the world. Inside, we will uncover the secrets of over 70 chapels of Byzantine Art, reflecting the culture and traditions of various Catholic communities.
Next, we will visit the National Cathedral, notable for its scale and location at the highest point in Washington D.C., offering exceptional views of the city. The tour continues to Embassy Row, where we will observe diverse architectural styles of diplomatic buildings.
We will then head to Kalorama, a residential area known for its notable residents, including the Obama family. After exploring the colonial neighborhood of Georgetown, we will visit the University of Georgetown, the Washington Port, and the C&O Canal. Additionally, we will see the steps featured in the classic film The Exorcist.
Finally, we will conclude our tour at the Kennedy Center before returning to hotels after four hours together.
