Join us and discover the contrasts of Washington D.C. by visiting the lesser-known areas of the capital of the United States.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel to begin this tour where we explore the contrasts of Washington D.C..
We'll first travel by minibus to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, one of the largest churches in the world. We'll enter the church to discover the more than 70 chapels of Byzantine Art that reflect the culture and traditions of various Catholic communities.
Next, we'll visit the National Cathedral, notable for its size and elevated location, offering some of the best views in the city. The tour continues at Embassy Row, showcasing diverse architectural styles of diplomatic buildings.
We will then stop at Kalorama, a residential area known for its notable residents, including the Obama family. Following this, we will explore the historic Georgetown neighborhood, including the University of Georgetown, Washington Port, C&O canal, and the famous steps from The Exorcist.
Finally, we'll visit the Kennedy Center and after four hours, return to the hotels, concluding this contrasting tour of Washington D.C.
