Tour Details

Welcome to the capital of the USA! At the indicated time, we'll start this free walking tour of Washington DC at the World War II Memorial, a monument located in the park on the National Mall.

After learning about the history of this place, we'll stroll along The Pool, where we will see the Abraham Lincoln Memorial at the end. This site is one of the most photographed spots in the city.

Then, we'll walk to the shores of the Tidal Basin to view monuments dedicated to Martin Luther King and Thomas Jefferson, and spot Washington's famous cherry trees.

Our next stop is the George Washington Monument, a 169-metre (555-foot) obelisk dedicated to the first President of the United States. After discussing its history, we'll walk around the different museums on the National Mall. At the end of this park, we'll see the Capitol in the distance.

Finally, we'll end this 2-hour tour in The Ellipse Park, where we'll admire the White House in the distance; the most famous presidential house in the world!
