Tour Details
Welcome to the capital of the USA! At the indicated time, we'll start this free walking tour of Washington DC at the World War II Memorial, located in the park on the National Mall.
After learning about the history of this place, we'll take a stroll along The Pool, which leads to the Abraham Lincoln Memorial.
Then, we'll walk to the shores of the Tidal Basin, where we'll see the monuments for Martin Luther King and Thomas Jefferson. We will also spot Washington's cherry trees.
Our next stop is the George Washington Monument, a 169-metre (555-foot) obelisk dedicated to the first President of the United States. Following this, we'll explore the different museums on the National Mall. We will conclude the tour by viewing the Capitol in the distance.
Finally, we will end this 2-hour tour at The Ellipse Park, where we'll admire the White House.
