Welcome to the capital of the USA! At the indicated time, we'll start this free walking tour of Washington DC at the World War II Memorial, located in the park on the National Mall.
After learning about the history of this place, we'll take a stroll along The Pool, which leads to the iconic Abraham Lincoln Memorial. This is one of the most photographed spots in the city.
Next, we'll walk to the shores of the Tidal Basin to see the monuments dedicated to Martin Luther King and Thomas Jefferson, while appreciating Washington's cherry trees.
Our next stop is the George Washington Monument, a 169-meter (555-foot) obelisk dedicated to the first President of the United States. After discussing its history, we'll explore the different museums on the National Mall. At the end of this park, we'll see the impressive Capitol in the distance.
Finally, we'll end this 2-hour tour in The Ellipse Park, where we'll admire the White House, the most famous presidential house in the world!
