Surf Lessons in Hikkaduwa

When you book your surf course, you can choose an option that fits your experience level. Each class includes assistance and explanations from an English-speaking instructor and lasts 2 hours.

Beginner level

This course is designed for those who have never surfed before. It covers the basics, and in a short time, you'll be able to catch the waves on your own. Initial instructions are given on the sand, followed by practice in shallow areas. A minimum of 5 beginner lessons is recommended to progress to the intermediate level.

Intermediate level

This course is suitable for individuals who have surfed before but want to enhance their skills. If you can balance on the board, this is the next step to practice your skills. You will learn techniques for intermediate-level turns, spins, and pirouettes at various spots in Hikkaduwa.

Advanced level

Recommended for experienced surfers who want to improve their technique. Instructors will teach you how to identify the best waves and conquer challenging ones. By the end, you'll be proficient surfers.

Kids

Children aged 10 to 18 years old can participate if accompanied by an adult.
