Dynjandi, Arnarfjördur & Bíldudalur Day Trip
At 9 am, we will meet on Þórsgata in Patreksfjordur to begin our journey to notable locations in the Westfjords. The first stop will be Tálknafjördur, a small fishing village where we will learn about its history and see its preserved traditions.
Next, we will visit Bíldudalur, the capital of the Westfjords, and view the Arnarfördur Fjord. A highlight will be the Sea Monster Museum, where we will explore local legends and mysteries regarding underwater threats.
Following the museum, we will explore the Arnarfjördur Fjord's landscapes and hike towards Dynjandi, a striking waterfall, perfect for photography.
After our hike, we will return to the minibus and drive to Dynjandisheidi Mountain, following the path of the first Scandinavian to sail in Iceland, Floki, known from the series Vikings.
We will pass Bardaströnd Beach before concluding our trip around 3 pm upon our return to Patreksfjordur.
