Látrabjarg & Raudasandur Jeep Tour

On this jeep tour through the Westfjords, we'll take you to the cliffs of Látrabjarg and the beach of Raudasandur. We'll ride on the winding Icelandic roads.

Látrabjarg & Raudasandur Jeep Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Þórsgata Street in Patreksfjordur and board an off-road jeep. We will visit the cliffs of Látrabjarg, home to puffins.

We'll leave Patreksfjordur and cross the Keflavík desert, enjoying views of Rauðasandur, Breiðavík, and Látravík. As we travel to the westernmost point of Iceland along the Atlantic coast, we will share stories related to these gorges.

Continuing in the jeep, we will see Hænuvík and the opening of Patreksfjörður and Tálknafjörður fjords. Next, we will stop at Raudasandur beach, known for its reddish sand, where you will have half an hour of free time to have lunch.

Upon reaching the cliffs of Látrabjarg, we will observe the puffin colony, one of the largest in the world.

Finally, we will visit the Hnjótur Heritage Museum to learn about Iceland's history and culture.

We will conclude the jeep tour by returning to the meeting point at approximately 5:30 pm.
