Látrabjarg & Raudasandur Jeep Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Þórsgata Street in Patreksfjordur and board an off-road jeep. We will visit the cliffs of Látrabjarg and see the puffins that inhabit the area.

Leaving Patreksfjordur, we will cross the Keflavík desert, enjoying views of Rauðasandur, Breiðavík, and Látravík. The tour will include stories about the region as we head to the westernmost point of Iceland along the Atlantic coast.

We will see Hænuvík and the entrance to the Patreksfjörður and Tálknafjörður fjords. We will also stop at Raudasandur beach, known for its reddish sand, where you will have half an hour of free time for lunch.

Upon reaching the cliffs of Látrabjarg, we will observe one of the largest colonies of seabirds, including puffins.

Finally, we will visit the Hnjótur Heritage Museum to learn about Iceland's history and culture. The tour concludes with a return to the meeting point at approximately 5:30 pm.
