Látrabjarg & Raudasandur Jeep Tour

On this jeep tour through the Westfjords, we'll take you to the cliffs of Látrabjarg and the iconic beach of Raudasandur. We'll have a ride on the winding Icelandic roads.

Látrabjarg & Raudasandur Jeep Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at Þórsgata Street in Patreksfjordur and board an off-road jeep. The cliffs of Látrabjarg and its inhabitants, the puffins, await us.

We'll leave Patreksfjordur and cross the Keflavík desert, enjoying views of Rauðasandur, Breiðavík, and Látravík. The drive will be enjoyable. As we approach the westernmost point of Iceland along the Atlantic coast, we'll share stories about the area.

Continuing in the jeep, we'll see Hænuvík and the entrance to the main fjords, Patreksfjörður and Tálknafjörður. Next, we’ll visit Raudasandur beach, known for its reddish sand. Here, you will have half an hour of free time, suitable for lunch.

Upon reaching the cliffs of Látrabjarg, we’ll observe the puffin colony, one of the largest seabird colonies globally.

We'll conclude our tour at the Hnjótur Heritage Museum, where we will learn about Iceland's history and culture.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point at approximately 5:30 pm.
