Látrabjarg & Raudasandur Jeep Tour

At 9 am, we will meet at Þórsgata Street in Patreksfjordur and board an off-road jeep. We will visit the cliffs of Látrabjarg, known for their puffin inhabitants.

The tour begins as we leave Patreksfjordur and traverse the Keflavík desert, offering views of Rauðasandur, Breiðavík, and Látravík. The journey to the westernmost point of Iceland along the Atlantic coast includes stories about the region's history.

During the ride, we will see Hænuvík and the openings of the Patreksfjörður and Tálknafjörður fjords. We will stop at Raudasandur beach, noted for its reddish sand, where you will have half an hour of free time, including an opportunity to have lunch.

Next, we will visit the cliffs of Látrabjarg to observe one of the largest colonies of seabirds in the world.

The tour concludes with a visit to the Hnjótur Heritage Museum to learn about Iceland's history and culture, returning to the meeting point by approximately 5:30 pm.
