Hike Through Patreksfjördur & Tálknafjödur Fjords

Our adventure commences at 9 am, gathering at Þórsgata 8a in Patreksfjördur before we set off towards Tálknafjödur. This trek will guide us along the spectacular fjords that border these picturesque West Icelandic towns.

As we hike, you will traverse paths that predate the establishment of roads in Iceland. Along the way, your guide will share captivating stories about the local communities and their distinct traditions.

Over the course of 5 hours, we will journey through the enchanting scenery of the Land of Fire and Ice, passing by Litlidalur, Lambeyrarháls, and Sudureyri. Fascinatingly, Sudureyri is known for its tales of fairies, and we will delve into the folklore surrounding these mystical beings, as well as explore the diverse bird species that inhabit this region.

Following our hike, we will return to our original meeting point in Patreksfjördur by minibus, arriving around 3 pm.
