Patreksfjördur & Tálknafjödur Fjords Hike

At 9 am, we'll meet at Þórsgata 8a in Patreksfjördur and start our hike to Tálknafjödur. We'll explore the fjords that line the shores of these two West Icelandic towns.

During the hike, you'll travel along trails that were used before Iceland had its first roads. The guide will provide interesting facts about the local people and their unique customs.

This 5-hour hike will take us through the beautiful landscapes of the Land of Fire and Ice as we pass Litlidalur, Lambeyrarháls, and Sudureyri. In Sudureyri, many believe in the existence of fairies, and we'll discuss the related legends as well as the different species of birds that inhabit the area.

We will return to the starting point in Patreksfjördur by minibus, arriving around 3 pm.
