Visit one of Iceland's best beaches on our Raudasandur Day Trip from Patreksfjördur. You'll travel through breathtaking Icelandic scenery and walk along Raudasandur's famous red sand.

Raudasandur Day Trip

We'll meet at 9 am at Þórsgata 8a in Patreksfjördur and drive south to Raudasandur. During the 30-minute journey, you'll see views of the Patreksfjördur fjord from the minibus.

Raudasandur, meaning "red sand," features over 6 miles (10 kilometers) of reddish-coloured sand. You can stroll along the beach and admire the contrast with the surrounding black cliffs.

If it's a clear day, you may see the Snæfellsjökull glacier in the distance. There is also a chance to spot seal families sunbathing with their pups on the beach.

After the visit, we'll return to the starting point and conclude our day trip at around 2 pm.
