Wellington Introduction Tour

Are you prepared to explore Wellington's stunning waterfront and dynamic city center by bicycle? Let’s get started!

This experience, guided by our expert, will kick off along the scenic waterfront, affording breathtaking views of Wellington Harbour. The waterfront is alive with activity, showcasing a blend of historic architecture, modern buildings, and striking public art that embodies the artistic essence of the city.

Next, we will visit key landmarks, including the famous Te Papa Museum, recognized as the Museum of New Zealand. Close by, you'll find the New Zealand Parliament, highlighted by the unique Beehive structure.

Continuing along Wellington's stunning coastline, you will experience a delightful juxtaposition to the urban landscape of the city center. Your guide will impart fascinating local tales that showcase the community's strong bond with nature and the outdoor lifestyle. Throughout the journey, ample opportunities for photos will be provided.

After approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, this tour will conclude.

Operating Days: Tuesday to Sunday at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm

Electric Bays Exploration

Similar to the previous tour, the Electric Bays Exploration will kick off at Queen's Wharf at the specified time. However, this tour will uniquely highlight the stunning bays along Wellington’s rugged shoreline.

Starting from the waterfront, we will ride along well-maintained paths adjacent to the lively city center. As before, we will pass familiar landmarks like Te Papa, the Museum of New Zealand, and Oriental Bay.

As we navigate the coastal bays on designated cycle paths, stunning viewpoints will greet us along the journey. A key stop will be at Wellington's 'wind needle', a remarkable sculpture symbolizing the city's breezy reputation. Following this, we’ll venture towards the hillside sign that spells out 'Wellington'—another perfect photo spot!

A break at a nearby café will provide us with a moment to enjoy more coastal panoramas. Once energized, we will switch our bikes to 'turbo' mode and proceed to a breathtaking viewpoint offering expansive views of the city and its bays.

This exhilarating tour lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours before it wraps up.
