On this day trip to Kluane National Park, we'll visit the spectacular landscapes of this World Heritage Site and walk along its trails with snowshoes, an unforgettable experience!

Day Trip to Kluane National Park

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entrance of theSternwheeler Hotel in Whitehorse and set off towardKluane National Park, a Unesco World Heritage Site with breathtaking landscapes.

Upon arrival, we'll put on snowshoes and enjoy a route through the snowy trails, exploring the variety of plants and wildlife. We'll seeKathleen Lake and do a short uphill trek to Rock Glacier, where we'll get panoramic views of other mountains and glaciers in the park.

We'll continue our snowshoe hike until we reach the historic town of Klukshu, known for its residents' expertise in salmon fishing. We will stop at a local restaurant for a typical meal.

We'll also visit the Da Ku Cultural Center to learn more about the history of Kluane National Park.

Finally, we'll return to Whitehorse, completing the tour in a total of seven hours.

Summer Tour

If you choose to do the activity in summer, you'll see the landscapes ofKluane National Park without snow, enjoying the Canadian wilderness in the warm season. The summer tour will start at 8:30 am and last between 8 and 9 hours. This option doesn't include lunch at the park's restaurant.
