Your tour begins with a pickup from your accommodation at 7 am, followed by a drive from Colombo to Kandy, the capital of the mountains. The recommended itinerary includes a visit to a traditional herb and spices garden, an essential part of Sri Lankan culture. You may also choose to visit a local tea factory to sample one of Kandy's famous products.

Additional visits can include the Jewelry Museum, the Temple of the Tooth, which houses the relic of Buddha's tooth, and the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to nearly one hundred semi-domestic elephants. The day concludes with a return to Colombo around 7 pm, where you will be taken back to your accommodation.
