Sri Lanka 8-Day Tour

On this 8-day tour through Sri Lanka, participants will explore European heritage towns, natural landscapes, tea fields, ruins, and the Buddha's tooth.

Tour Description

Day 1: Colombo – Negombo

Guests will be picked up from the Colombo airport and travel to Negombo, a fishing village 12 km north. Dinner and overnight stay included.

Day 2: Negombo – Dambulla – Habarana

Breakfast in Negombo, then visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a World Heritage Site. Afterward, guests will arrive in Habarana for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Habarana – Polonnuruwa – Sigiriya – Habarana

After breakfast, departure to Polonnuruwa to explore ruins from the 11th-12th centuries, then visit Sigiriya to climb Lion's Rock. Return to Habarana for dinner.

Day 4: Habarana – Matale – Kandy

Post-breakfast, travel to Matale to learn about spice cultivation, then visit Kandy for the Temple of the Tooth. Evening stay in Kandy with dinner provided.

Day 5: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a trip to Nuwara Eliya to explore tea plantations. Afternoon free in town before dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Nuwara Eliya – Yala

Breakfast, then travel to Yala National Park for a safari. Evening return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 7: Yala – Galle – Kalutara

Breakfast, then journey to Galle to visit its fortress. Finally, arrive in Kalutara for dinner and the last overnight stay.

Day 8: Kalutara – Colombo Airport

Breakfast in Kalutara and transfer to Colombo airport to conclude the tour.

Important

In September and October, if Yala National Park is closed, a visit to Lunugamvehera National Park will replace it on Day 7.

Accommodation

The tour includes 7 nights of accommodation with breakfast at designated hotels: category A (4-star) or category B (3-star) hotels, including options in Negombo, Habarana, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Yala, and Kalutara.

Price Info

A minimum of two participants is required. Solo travelers can opt for a private booking or choose another date. Should odd-numbered bookings occur, specific procedures must be followed. Early arrivals will incur an extra night fee.

Flights

Participants must arrive at the airport on the first day before 11:30 am to avoid an additional transfer fee of $65 per person.
