This 11-day route offers a complete experience from ancient temples and historic cities in Sri Lanka to the beaches of the Maldives. The itinerary includes visits to iconic sites like the Dambulla Cave Temple, Lion Rock in Sigiriya, and the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, alongside safaris and tea plantations.

In the Maldives, an all-inclusive resort provides a perfect end to the trip.

Tour Description

Day 1: Colombo - Dambulla - Habarana

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo before 12 noon. Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple and check into your Habarana hotel for the evening.

Day 2: Habarana - Polonnaruwa - Minneriya National Park - Habarana

After breakfast, visit Polonnaruwa and have lunch, followed by a 2.5 to 3-hour safari in Minneriya National Park. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Habarana - Sigiriya - Habarana

Visit Sigiriya to explore the Lion Rock. Lunch in Sigiriya, then return to Polonnaruwa to complete your visit, and return to Habarana for dinner.

Day 4: Habarana - Matale - Kandy

After breakfast, head to Kandy with a stop at spice plantations. Visit the Temple of the Tooth and have free time for lunch before returning for dinner at your hotel in Kandy.

Day 5: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Travel to Nuwara Eliya after breakfast. Visit a tea factory and spend the night at your accommodation with dinner.

Day 6: Nuwara Eliya - Negombo

Travel to Negombo for a tour of the town, including Angurukaramulla Temple and the Dutch Negombo Fort. Dinner at your hotel follows.

Day 7: Negombo - Colombo Airport - Malé

Have breakfast, then transfer to Colombo airport for a flight to Malé between 7:20 am and 3 pm. Take a speedboat to the hotel on Ailafushi Island for a 3-day stay.

Days 8, 9 & 10: The Maldives

Enjoy the facilities of a 4-star resort with meals and activities included. The buffet is available at specified times, and leisure options include sports and entertainment.

Day 11: Malé

Transfer by speedboat to Velana International Airport after breakfast for your return flight.
