Inside the castle, the State Apartments feature intricate ceiling paintings. You will also find the Queen’s Mary Dolls’ House (currently closed to visitors).
Depending on your visit day, catch the Change of Guard at St. George’s Chapel and explore its Gothic interior, which is distinct from other chapels, showcasing high ceilings and flags reminiscent of the era of Henry VIII.

March – October: Thursday to Monday from 10 am – 5:30 pm (last entry at 4 pm)November – February: Thursday to Monday from 10 am – 4:15 pm (last entry at 3 pm)
Itinerary Adjustments
St George’s Chapel is normally closed to visitors on Sundays and is currently closed every day of the week.Windsor Castle may close on short notice due to events or maintenance work.The Changes of the Guard at St. George's Chapel occur only on Thursday and Saturday at 11 am.
