8 Day Silk Road Trip

Day 1: Arrival in Xi'an

Upon arrival at Xi'an Airport, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for rest and settling in.

Day 2: Terracotta Army

After breakfast, travel by minibus to the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum to see the Terracotta Army. Return to Xi'an to visit the ancient city wall and the Muslim Quarter. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Dunhuang

After breakfast, take a flight from Xi'an to Dunhuang. In the afternoon, explore the Gobi desert, visiting the Mingsha Dunes and Crescent Lake. Afterward, explore the night market before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Mogao Caves and arrival in Turfan

Enjoy breakfast before visiting the Mogao Caves. Travel by train to Turfan and check into your hotel.

Day 5: Turfan - Urumchi

Following breakfast, visit Bezeklik and Gaochang, then tour the ancient city of Jiaohe and Emin Minaret. Travel to Urumchi for overnight stay.

Day 6: Urumchi

Post breakfast, visit the Xinjiang Museum (closed on Mondays), then explore Tianshan Heavenly Lake. Overnight train to Kashgar.

Day 7: Kashgar

Explore the old town of Kashgar, visiting the Id Kah Mosque and Apak Khoja Mausoleum. Return to your hotel after the tour.

Day 8: Departure from Kashgar

After breakfast, transfer to Kashgar airport for your return flight.

The trip includes six nights in 3-star hotels with breakfast in Xi'an, Dunhuang, Turfan, Urumchi, and Kashgar.

Domestic Transport Included

The tour includes an economy-class flight from Xi'an to Dunhuang, a second-class train ticket from Dunhuang to Turfan, and overnight accommodation on a train from Urumchi to Kashgar.
